World's Coolest Lake

1. Yucatan Lake
This underground Macan Che lake in Yucatan peninsula is believed to be a gift from the God of Maya tribe in Mexico and known as the forbidden lake.



2. Golden Lake
Another underground lake laying in Luray Caverns, Virginia. The bouncing effect of its water in the ceiling of the cave looks similar to shining gold.

4. Melissani Lake
Located in Mellisani Cave, Kefalonia, founded as the ruins that covered the cave were smashed during an earthquake in 1953.
