Dolphin - giving birth

Bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) is caught giving birth, excreting its baby tail firstly.

one, two, three, pusshhh....!!

there it is! the baby's out - surrounded by its mommy's blood.

the pics are taken in Rimini wildlife park pool, Italy. The photographer, Mr. Stanzani has been collecting dolphin pics for almost 14 years and he said that usually dolphins gave birth during nightlife so the light could be very bad and the moment's gonna be too hard to capture.

A-giving-birth dolphin usually swims afar from the pool window and though they are closed - sometimes the water quality is poor.
"This time I was extremely lucky. It was daytime first of all. There were three photographers, one at each of the three underwater windows - and I was at the right one!

"The others couldn't even see the event."
