Unique Buildings

the Basket USA)
This idea comes from Dave Longaberger, founder of The Longaberger Company, who put it into a real giant basket and use it as the company's office. He thinks this is his best idea and he believes it's presence will boost up the productivity. This "Basket" has been used since Desember 17, 1997.



the Dancing House (Ceko)

The Dancing House is an office in Prague. Designed by a Kroasian architect, Vlado Milunic who cooperated with Frank Gehry, a Canadian. The building started in 1994 and finished in 1996.

Its futuristic design hopefully can be another source of the country's culture. This building was named 'Fred and Ginger' , it's located between Neo-Baroque, Neo-Gothic dan Art Nouveau, those well-known buildings in Prague.


On the roof, there is a french restaurant. Some times ago it was used as offices, as it's location is quite strategic for the business world.



the Piano China)

This piano-like building is in An Hui province, China. The other part that resemble a violin is the escalator. It is built as an effort to improve the area's tourism potential.




Kansas Library (USA)

This Kansas Library has the coolest roof in the city. Before, the citizens were asked to pick the most influenced books and have Kansas city image. At the end, those books were turned into the building's roof.




the Robot (Thailand)



This robotic building, is located in the business centre of Sathorn, Bangkok, used by United Overseas Bangkok Bank. Designed for Bankof Asia by Sumet Jumsai to potray the bank's computerized system.



the Blue (Holland)

Located in Delfshaven, Rotterdam, this building was formerly designed by Schildersbedrijf N&F Hijnen. It was also built in agreement that the color blue would be the only paint used.


From distances, it is very conspicuous among others.



the Astra (Germany)

This unique building processes beer in Hamburg, Germany. It can be set up high or lowered down through its core. Sadly, it is now demolished as it was brought by a bigger company.



the Twisted One(Poland)


This twisted building was designed by Szotynscy Zaleski, inspired by Jan Marcin Szancer's fairy tale and a Swedish painting by Per Dahlberg. It's 4000 meter square wide in Sopot shopping center, Poland.
